A director with an eye for detail and a heart for humanity.

Creating intentional work that resonates with the viewer is essential to everything I do, from directing to storyboarding to styling. It’s all about telling the right story for the right audience.

Sometimes the process looks like this:
Discover, Research, Write, Sketch, Make!

DISCOVER:
I start by listening to the client and their needs. On the discovery call, I ask a series of questions that help me get to the why of the project and discover exactly what story we’re trying to tell.

RESEARCH:
I do additional research, hold brainstorming sessions, write treatments, + visual direction. This is the stage of open possibilities!

WRITE:
Time to write the creative brief! This keeps everyone who touches the project on track for its duration. I begin scripting with the creative brief + visual direction as my guide!

SKETCH:
Now, onto the storyboards. This stage provides the opportunity to work out any transitions or camera moves. After the storyboards are created, I love to get an animatic created to check the overall timing + pacing.

MAKE:
And then we make it! The project then goes into production! If I’m not actively involved in creating assets, I’m working with artists to create on-brand finished products for the clients through offering direction, feedback, and solutions.

Okay, there’s a bit more to it, but that’s where I start. At each stage, I check in with the client to make sure we’re on the same page, so there are no surprises later. The wonderful thing about this industry is that it’s so collaborative. Multiple people touch a project every step of the way to make it as fantastic as possible. I’m there to guide everything in the right direction.
